Radioactive Dust Monitor

In addition to monitoring posts that measure the amount of radiation in the air, there are also dust monitors that measure the concentration of radioactive materials in dust in the air.

Monitoring posts are installed for the purpose of constantly and continuously monitoring environmental radiation within and around nuclear facilities.
Measured data is transmitted and collected by transmission equipment to each facility and local government, and is published on their websites.
The detectors used are NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors, which provide high sensitivity in measuring low dose rates from the environmental level, and ionization chamber detectors, which can stably measure up to high dose rates.
The measuring equipment installed in the monitoring station building must be highly reliable in order to maintain the quality of the measurement data and data transmission.
